Charlie In The House?

It all started by accident. One day I was in the back yard and Mom went into the house to find something. She left the patio door open so I was curious to see what was in that place where Mom and Dad spent so much time. Mom was sure surprised to see me but she decided to let me look around and see how I would behave in the house.

I'm a llama and I prefer to be outside in open spaces. I do not sleep in the barn but under the big beautiful cedar trees. I visit in the house but I do not sleep there. I am also house broken so Mom doesn't have to worry about cleaning up any messes when I visit. So, Why am I in the house?

I learned how to walk on the carpet, wood floors and kitchen tile. I didn't break anything or knock anything down. Later Mom and Dad talked about my adventure in the house and decided that between my wonderful personality and my ability to move around in the house, I might just be an ideal therapy llama and be able to visit rest homes. Mom said it was important for me to learn how to walk on different textures, move around small objects and not be uncomfortable or frightened.
Charlie Wow, there was so much to see and smell. I checked out the whole house and found so many things I had never seen before. My favorite was going into the bathroom and bedroom where I found this thing on the wall that had a llama looking at me. I finally realized that was me and couldn't get over how handsome I am.

I'm sure glad I don't have to shave, you should see all the scarie looking stuff in here. At least there is good lighting and a great mirror. Nice shower too but to small for me.

Each time I got to visit in the house I found something new and interesting. Now I have been in the house so many times that it feels just as natural to me as being in the pasture. When I visit the rest homes I find they are sorta like the house but with longer halls and more rooms. Each room has a new and interesting person to visit with. Most of the people really like me but a couple thought I was big and scarier. HA, can you imagine me being scarie?
