Charlie on Japanese TV - Part 2

Paco

When the crew returned to Japan they sent us a video of the program that Charlie was on, we laughed so much because everybody was speaking Japanise including Charlie. We couldn't understand a word that was being said but it was so much fun to watch.

All of my buddies were filmed so they could show how each of us had a different personality. When they started filming inside the house the other llamas wanted to know why Charlie was in the house and they were not. Actually, Charlie is the only one the comes in the house to visit on a regular basis. There are times when Andrew and Sparkie will also pay us a visit inside.

We filmed all day for two days and sometimes you just get tired. Every time I got tired and didn't want to work any more Casey would give me treats to get my attention. By the end of the second day I was pretty full, think I might have even gained weight.

The first day of shooting, the film crew enjoyed having a picnic lunch in the pasture with the llamas. They picked the spot under our large willow tree and next to the creek. They not only enjoyed the llamas, they also enjoyed our pasture and didn't want to leave for lunch.

Film Crew

The last day of filming they surprised us and treated us to a tasty authentic Japanese picnic. We got to taste many Japanse dishes and they were all wonderful. We knew it was coming close for their filming to end and we were already missing our new friends.

This was the end of one story and the beginning of another. It will be several months before we get a copy of the program with all of us speaking japanese. We made new friends and thanks to the Internet and email we will be able to keep in touch. Thank you Kaoru, Naomi, Takamitsu and Norikazu for sharing this adventure with our family.
